Monetary Donations:
Your gift will be used where it is needed most to help provide efficient and up-to-date materials and services to our community. If you have specific wishes for the use of funds you donate, please contact the Library Director.
The Library accepts donations in person, by mail, and online via PayPal (no account required).
Memorial Gifts:
Remember loved ones with a memorial, or honor a special person’s milestone event with a gift to the library. These donations are usually used to purchase books or other circulating materials for the library collection. Book plates acknowledging the gift are placed in each book, and the honoree or the family of the person being remembered will be notified of the donation.
Bequests:
Including the library in your will or living trust provides a lasting gift to our community. Contact your attorney or estate planner to learn more about leaving a legacy.
Charitable contributions to public libraries are considered tax deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Library reserves the right to select materials in accordance with its collection development policy. The Library further reserves the right to decline proposed donations if there are conditions attached which conflict with its donation policy.
